Tasting | Champagne Barrat-Masson

Champagne Barrat-Masson Fleur de Craie

Expressive nose with fresh summer apricots and pear, white flowers, subtle orange blossom and a hint of sweet biscuits. Lovely attack of freshness and a lingering hint of smoke in its length.

100% Chardonnay, 6g/liter. 2011 vintage but not indicated as a millésime.

Champagne Barrat-Masson Grain d’Argile

Rich, round and very refined fruitiness, with the freshness of wet, grainy chalk and lots of hazelnut. Very refreshing with a warmer, palate pleasing acidity and friendly freshness. Hints of sour cherry and raspberry shining through.

37% Pinot Noir, 63% Chardonnay, zero dosage.

Champagne Barrat-Masson Les Margannes

Amazing mix of lemon and grapefruit zests, acacia honey and white flowers, hints of toasted bread notes. Complex, dense and well-structured with good tension. As refreshing as a spoonful of lemon sorbet with an impressively long, salty finish.

100% Chardonnay, zero dosage. Made from 80% cœur de cuvée.
