Tasting | Champagne Drappier

Champagne Drappier Brut Nature

Punchy dark red Pinot Noir aromas floating right out of the glass, a touch of blackberry and cassis, lots of dark cherry underneath, a hint of graphite and grilled mushroom beyond that. On the palate, wonderfully creamy in an instant, yeasty, lively acidity and a cool touch of chalky minerality picked up a second later by the warmth of the dark fruit flavors. A long chalky finish. Acid medium to high, slightly creamy, medium bodied, elegant vibrant acidity at first before becoming fuller with dark red flavors.

100% Pinot Noir. Non-filtered, zero dosage, low in sulphites (also exists as zero sulphur).

Champagne Drappier Brut Nature Rosé

Refreshing raspberry and clementine with charming notes of rose petals, supported by a well-structured backbone with hints of cedar and juniper. Delicious touch of bitterness that lingers in the finish.

100% Pinot Noir. Macerated for 3 days. Non-filtered, zero dosage, low in sulphites (also exists as zero sulphur).

Champagne Drappier Grande Sendrée 2008

55% Pinot Noir, 45% chardonnay. Non-filtered, lots of magnum, normally on lees 7 to 8 years, elaborated in foudres, very baroque and generous.
