CHAMPAGNE BARRAT-MASSON | Soft Chalk and Its Creamy Fizz

For many years the Côte de Sézanne was nearly unknown to wine tourists traveling through Champagne. A 45 minute drive away, the Sézannais was considered as little more than an extension of the Côte des Blancs, not the home of winegrowers marketing their own Champagnes. 

Aurélie Barrat and Loïc Masson, owners of Champagne Barrat-Masson, belong to a young generation of winemakers who have decided to revalue the unique character of Sézannais Chardonnay, helping to establish a unified confidence in the region.
